"Win." Digital Print. 2017.

This small study from my Typography I class shows the word "win" repeated in Helvetica roman weight with varying placements and opacities. The assignment was to illustrate the meaning of a word using only the font Helvetica, without modifying the letterforms. In this case, the meaning of the word "win" is effectively communicated, as the fading text streams seem to be racing each other across the page. One form is crossing an invisible 'finish line' (indicated by the edge of the paper), and is thus winning the race.
